Monthly Luncheon Meeting

Served at Lobrano House at 12 noon.

Reservations are required and the price is $15 for members and $17 for nonmembers, payable at the door. Please call by noon on Wednesday to assure your reservation.

On This Day In...

1704

April 19th - After a delay of several months, the Pelican departs La Rochelle, France, and sets sail for the Louisiana colony. It carries much needed supplies, but more importantly, it carries 23 young women (fiercely protected by two nuns) that are to be married to the colonists. The highly anticipated cargo will take almost 4 months to arrive.
