Parker, William G. - September 8, 1997
William G. Parker, 77, of Waveland, died Monday, Sept 8, 1997 in Gulfport.
Mr. Parker was a postman for the Postal Department. He was a member of the choir at St. Clare Catholic Church, and he belonged to American Legion Post 77 in Waveland and the National Association of Retired Federal mployees. He was a native of Rankin County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lillie Welcher Parker.
Survivors include his wife, Omega S. Parker; a daughter, Sandra Parker Schultz of Concord, N. C.; a stepdaughter, Janet Swasey Feinberg of Bethesda; three brothers, seven sisters, three grandsons and three stepgrandsons.
Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Friday at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 2;40 p.m. for celebration of Mass at 3 p.m. at St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland. Burial will be in Waveland Cemetery.
