Planer, Mildred - December 26, 1998
Dora Bennett, 80, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Bennett was born Sept 1918 in Tchula and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1944. She was a member of St. James Baptist Church in Gulfport where she was the secxretary of the usher board and a member of the mission.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Wilson and Mary Wilson; three brothers, J. W. Wilson, Issac Wilson and Tommy Wilson; and two sisters, Mannie Hicks and Bertha Wilson.
Survivors include four sons, Williard Bennett Jr., James L. Bennett and Larry Bennett, all of Gulfport and Richard Bennett of Pass Christian; two daughters, Joyce Coleman of Pass Christian and Deloris Turner of Virginia Beach, Va., 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren
