Pucheu, Chester John  -  June 19, 1950

Funeral services were held here Wednesday morning, June 21, at 10 o'clock for Chester John Pucheu, who died suddenly at the home of his son at 400 Third street Monday, June 19, at 10:30 p. m. It was said that Mr. Pucheu suffered a heart attack while staying with his grandchildren, while the rest of the family was away. He died before medical aid reached him.

Mr. Pucheu, 42, was a native of Bay St. Louis; he was the son of the late John Mary Pucheu and Estelle Fayard Pucheu.

He is survived by one son, Chester John Pucheu, Jr.; two grandsons, Joseph and Glenn; four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Finhold, Mrs. W. H. Green, Mrs. T. N. Johnston and Mrs. Owen Bosarge; and four brothers, Lucas, Raymond, Charles and Evan Pucheu.

The funeral was held from the Fahey Funeral Home with religious rites conducted there and at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic church by Rev. Father Edward P. Desmond. Interment was in Cedar Rest cemetery.

Pallbearers were Patrick McGinty, Owen Bosarge, Edward Poyadou, Lucas Pucheu, Jr., Harry Meisner and Tony Capdepon.
