Quinlan, Marion M. - December 14, 1997
Marion McGuinness Quinlan, 80, of Waveland , died Sunday, Dec 14, 1997, in Waveland.
Mrs. Quinlan was a native of New Orleans and had been a resident of Waveland for the past 15 years. She was a retired teacher and realtor. She was a member of Marquette Council Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, Sultanas, Hancock Women's Club, St. Clare Catholic Church, St Vincent de Paul and St. Clare Sodality in Waveland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles G. Quinlan; a son, C. Gregg Quinlan Jr.; five brothers, John, Hames, Clay, Harold and Edward McGuinnss; and two sisters, Elaine McAcy and Patricia Trapani.
Survivors include a daughter, lizabeth Quinlan Kirby of Waveland; three sons, William J. Quinlan of Mandeville, La., Patrick G. Quinlan of New Orleans and Mick Quinlan of Waveland; a sister, Marjorie Keller of New Orleans; 16 grandchildren and a great -grandchild.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated Tuesday morning at St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland. Also, a Memorial Mass was celebrated in the afternoon at the Chapel of the North American Martyrs at Jesuit High School in New Orleans.
