Mr. Dowell A. Reed, 80, of Bay St. Louis, died Monday, Sept 30, 1996, in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Reed was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alphonse and Una Reed, and a brother, Floyd J. Reed.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Brown Reed of Bay St. Louis; and a brother, Corwin B. Reed.
Visitation will be today 9-11 a.m. at Tharp Sontheimer Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd, at 43rd St., Metairie, Followed by graveside services at 11:30 a.m. in Metairie Cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Blve., New Orleans.
The family prefers memorials to the American Cancer Society, 925 Common, Suite 1075, New Orleans, LA 70112 or the American Lung Association.
LEdmone Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of local arrangements.
