Sceroler, Thomas James - February 8, 1897
Died-On Jordan River, Monday, February 8, 1897, at 10:40 o'clock P. M., Thomas James Sceroler, aged twenty-six years, eight months, and seven days.
"Dear Thomas, thou has left us,
And the loss we deeply feel;
But 'tis God that hath bereft us,
He can all our sorrows heal;
Yet again we hope to meet thee
When the day of life is fled--
When in heaven with joy to greet thee,
Where no farewell tear is shed."
