Schindler, August Jr. - September 23, 1960
Funeral services were held Saturday for August Schindler, Jr., 75, a resident of Bay St. Louis for 60 years, who died Friday in Hancock General Hospital.
Religious services were held in Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Alma Bordage Schindler; three daughters, Mrs. Eaton Garriga, Pass Christian; Mrs. Frank Carver, New Orleans, and Mrs. Claude Green, Bay St. Louis; five sons, Emile, Clarence, Charles, and Raymond Schindler, all of Bay St. Louis and Leo of New Orleans. Two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Arnold and Mrs. Hubert Vanney, of New Orleans, 24 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
