Schultz, Jerry J. Jr. - May 21, 1997
Jerry J. Schultz Jr., 78, of Diamondhead, died Wednesday, May 21, 1997 in Houston.
Mr. Schultz was a native of New Orleans; a graduate of Holy Cross High School in New Orleans; served in the Army during World War II and was a recipient of the Purple Heart; was retired as a property and fiscal officer for the Louisiana National Guard and a member of Annucciation Catholic Church in Kiln.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Lucille Schultz; and a sister, Lucille Dyess.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Leftwich of Diamondhead; three sons, Jerry J. Schultz III of Antwerp, Belgium; Robert D. Schultz of Marble Falls, Texas, and Gregory W. Schultz of Luling, La; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Sunday from 6-8 p m at Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St.Louis. A recitation of the Rosary is scheduled for 8 a.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at Annuciation Catholic Church where friends may call after9 a.m. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Lakelawn Cemetery Mausoleum in New Orleans.
