Schwall, Daniel M. - June 9, 1959
Daniel M. Schwall, 37, a World War II veteran, died at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday in Veterans Administration Hospital, Gulfport. A resident of Edwardsville Community, he was hospitalized June 3.
Born Sept. 5, 1921, he was the son of Mrs. Zoda Schwall and the late Julius Schwall.
Services were at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Fahey Funeral Home with religious services in Our Lady of the Gulf Church. Graveside military rites were conducted by Clement R. Bontemps Post. American Legion, in Cedar Rest Cemetery.
Survivors, besides his mother, include his widow, Mary N. Schwall; a son, Michael Daniel; four brothers, Edward and Charles Schwall of New Orleans and James and Julius Schwall of Bay St. Louis; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Talliac of Bay St. Louis and Mrs. Laura Triay of New Orleans, and several nieces and nephews.
