Bertha G. Schwartz, 84, of Clermont Harbor, xied Saturday, Feb 14, 1998, in Bay St. Louis.
She was a native of Orange, Tx, and a former resident of New Orleans. She was a resident of Clermont Harbor for the past 65 years. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, the St. Ann Altar Society and the Clermont Harbor Ladies Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Phena Genna Gengo; a brother, Tony Gengo; and a sister, Katherine Marcello.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Schwartz Jr. of Clermont Harbor; one son, Dr. E. Ward Sudderth of Marrero, La; one daughter, Antoinette G. Breaud of Metairie, La; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 7-10 p.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. Recitation of the rosary is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.Monday and proceed to St. Ann for Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Bayou Caddy Cemetery.
