Shubert, Florence - August 20, 1998
Florence E. Shubert, 76, of Pearlington, died Thursday, Aug 20, 1998, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Shubert was a homemaker. She was a native and a lifelong resident of Hancock County and was a Catholic.
She was preceeded in death by her parents,Adolph and Emily Asher Carver Shubert, her daughter, Jeanette Marie Van Court Lachney, three brothers, Lloyd J. Shubert, Adolph E. Shubert Jr., and Joseph C. Shubert; and a sister, Charlotte Ann Shubert.
Survivors include three brothers, George Shubert and Robert Shubert, both of Bay St. Louis, and Emmett Shubert of Gulfport, two sisters, Florine S. Allen of Bendale, Miss., Gloria Krause of LaMarque, Texas; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Shubert donated her body to the University Medical Center in Jackson.
There will be a memorial service today at 6 p.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home Chapel.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
