Smith, Emma Rosenberg - February 24, 1959
Emma Rosenberg Smith, age 79, died February 24 at 2 A. M., at her home, 403 St. George Street. She had been a resident of Bay St. Louis for the past 50years.
Survivors include her husband, James Smith; 5 daughters Lillian E. Watson, Gulfport; Harriet Curry, Madeline Smith and May Given, all of Bay St. Louis, and Hazel Breaux, New Orleans and one son, James Smith, Jr., of Bay St. Louis.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 8:45 from the residence followed by religious services at St. Rose de Lima Church. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
