Spence, Maduso - April 16, 1896
Dr. J. M. Spence received the sad intelligence yesterday morning of his sister's sudden death at her father's home near Lacey, Hancock County, which occurred Thursday evening. The young lady, Miss Maduso, was but 12 years old, and in splendid health, and her untimely death was a great shock to her family and friends.
