Stephens, Gorman - April 1, 1999
Gorman C. Stephens, 81, of Bay St. Louis, died Thursday, April 1, 1999, in Biloxi.
Mr. Stephens was born in Stears, Ky., and had been a resident of Bay St. Louis for 22 years, moving from Ludlow, Ky. He was a Baptist and was a retired railroad enginer. He served in the Navy during World War II and served in the Air Force durng the Korean War.
Survivors include three sisters, Lurie Bandy of Ludlow, Alice Smith and Grace Strunk, both of Pine Knot, Ky.
Visitation was Monday at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport, followed by graveside siervices in Biloxi National Cemetery.
