Stoufflet, Leola Green - October 7, 1996
Leola Green Stoufflet, 79, of lakeshore, died Monday, Oct. 7, 1996 in Lakeshore.
Mrs Stoufflet was a native of Lakeshore. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Lakeshore. She was a cafeteria manager at Gulfview School for over 40 years. She was a member of Waveland American Legion Post 77 ladies Auxiliary and Lakeshore VFW Post 4807 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Joseph Stoufflet; three sons, Audie Stoufflet, David Stoufflet and Gary Stoufflet; her parents Benjamin Glover and Oliva Mary Roth Green; three brothers, Lester Green, Matthew Green and Malcom Green; and a sister, Isabelle LaFountaine.
Survivors include three daughters, Lois Poole of Durham, N.C., Diane Stoufflet of lakeshore and Janet Sahuque of Ashley; a brother, Marion F. Green of Lakeshore; two sisters, Helen Johnson of Waveland and Ruth LaFontaine of lakeshore; 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Wednesday evening At Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. A procession will leave the funeral home today at 10:30 a.m. to go to an 11 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. John Catholic Church. Burial will be in lakeshore Cemetery.
