Strain, Arlie - May 8, 1998
Arlie Strain, 71, of Pearlington, died Friday, May 8, 1998, in Pearlington.
Mr. Strain was the former owner of Clearview Pets and also worked in the Import-Export business. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie and Lydia McGinnis Strain.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Strain of Pearlington; one son, Joseph B. Strain of Pearlington; five daughters, Beth Goddard of New Orleans; Ann Strain of Burlingame, CA., Jan Strachan of Seagoville, Tex,, Lynn Keifer and Jill Mercer, both of Destreahan, La.; and nine grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held Monday, 10 a.m. at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Pearlington. A Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at the church.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home, Bay St. Louis, is in charge of arrangements.
