Guadalupe Tan, 86, of Brooklyn, N. Y., died Friday, March 5, 1999 in Brooklyn
Mrs. Tan was a native of the Philippines and was a Catholic.She was a member of the Catholic Women's League and was an elementary school teacher in the Philippines.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isidro Velasquez and Irenia Adolfe; a brother, Juan Velasquez; and two sisters, Trinidad Baz and Magdalina Velasquez.
Survivors include three daughters, Concepcion Tan Toppin and Teresita Tan, both of Brooklyn, and Bernadette Sy of Bay St. Louis; two sons, Walfrido Tan of the Philippines and Perpetro Tan of Los Angeles; and a brother, Martin Velasquez of the Philippines.
Visitation was Tuesday evening at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. Mass was celebrated Wednesday at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church.Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery in Bay St. Louis
