Templet, Rosa Firpo - June 10, 1959
Services were held at 9;45 a.m. today at Fahey Funeral Home for Mrs. Gus E. Templet, 87. Mrs. Templet, the former Rosa Firpo, was widely known as Aunt Rosa.
She died at 4:30p.m.Wednesday at Patrick's Nursing Home, Handsboro, where she had been a patient for several years. She was the widow of the late Gus E. Templet and was a lifelong resident of Bay St. Louis until her illness.
She is survived by two nephews, Bernard Firpo, Bay St. Louis, and Bernard Austin, Shreveport, La.; and a niece, Mrs. Francis Daron, Gulfport.
Religious services were held at 10 a.m, at Our Lady of the Gulf Church. Interment was at 1 p.m. at Greenwood cemetery. New Orleans.
Pallbearers were John Scafide, Cyril Glover, Warren Traub, Bernard Firpo, J. T. Jacobs and W. T. Lafontaine, Sr.
