Thigpen, George W. - January 29, 1999
George W. Thigpen, 85, of Nicholson, died Friday, Jan 29, 1999 in Picayune.
Mr. Tigpen was a native of Nicholson and was an air conditioning and refrigeration repairman. He was a member of Nicholson Baptist Temple.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa Lee Patch Thigpen of Nicholson; a brother, J. B. Thigpen of Picayune; and five sisters, Flora Pittaman, Eunice Jarrell, Myrtis Thigpen and Lois Meitzler, all of Nicholson and Yvonne Anderson of Carriere.
Visitation was Sunday evening at McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune. Services were conducted Monday in the funeral home chapel with burial in Thigpen Cemetery in Nicholson.
