Thomas, John - February 16, 1958
John Thomas, 73 years of age, husband of Cecile Colson Thomas, died at 11:45 p. m. February 16, in the Hancock County Hospital.
Father of Albert Thomas, New Orleans, La.; John H. Thomas, Mandeville, La.; Mrs. Roland Holzhauser, Algiers., La.; Mrs. Louis McHughes, New Orleans, La.; Mrs. Willard Gavagine and Mrs. E. J. Marengo., Bay St. Louis; brother of Mrs. Louis Pellergrini., New Orleans; also survived by 19 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services were held Tuesday morning Feb. 18, at 9:45 a. m from Fahey Funeral Home followed by religious rites from Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church.
Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Before his death Mr. Thomas had been a retired railroad employee, who had made his home in Bay St. Louis for the past 20 years.
