Vassali, Mary Benigno - November 26, 1998
Mary Beningo Vassalli, 92, of Kenner, La, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998 in Metairie, La.
She was a native of Bay St. Louis and of the Catholic faith. She had 30 years of sales and service for D. H. Holmes.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Vassalli; her parents, Samuel and Frances Noto Benigno; three brothers, George J., Anthony J., and Samuel J., and a sister, Rita B. Lane.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Vassalli Burns of Abita Springs, La; two brothers, Charles S. Benigno of Bay St. Louis, Joseph Benigno of Pass Christian, and Joseh Benigno of Diamondhead; and two sisters, Gloria B. Landry of Diamondhead and Anna B. O'Donnell of Chicao, Ill; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be today, Nov 29, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a Recitation of the Rosary at 8 p.m. at the Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis.
Mass will be held Monday, Nov 30, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church with burial in the Gulf Coast Cemetery and Mausoleum. Edmond Fahey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
