Watson, Margie - November 4, 1999
Margie Watson, 97, of Gulfport, died Thursday, Nov 4, 1999, in Gulfport.
Ms. Watson was a native of DeFuniah Springs, Fla. and a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1989. She attended St. Theresa Catholic Church in Gulfport and was a Gulfport Memorial Hospital vbolunteer for several years. She graduated from Piney Woods where she taught for several years. She also traveled with the Piney Woods Singers.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gammon Watson, her mother, Maggie Watson; a sister, Lillian Watson; two
brothers, Lovelyn Watson and Alton Watson.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Lillian E. Watson of Gulfport and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation was Saturday at St. Theresa Catholic Church n Gulfport followed by interment in Cedar Rest Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
Lockett-Williams' Mortuary in Gulfport was in charge of arrangements. (
