Weathers, Edward Jr.  -  November 8, 1998

Edward Aloysious Weathers Jr., 57, of Bay St. Louis, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998, in Bay St. Louis.

Mr. Weathers was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a member of St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church and a resident of Bay St. Louis for three years. He was a graduate of St. Joseph Elementary School and Holy Cross High School, New Orleans. He received an appointment by Rep. F. Edward Herbert to the U. S. Naval Academy and graduated with the class of 1963. He graduated from the U. S. Air Force Academy in 1967. Mr Weathers then received his master's degree from Georgia Tech, graduating in 1971. He was a member of the American Legion Post 139, Bay St. Louis, and was owner of BSL Financial Services. He wa a veteran of the U. S. Air Force serving as a Captain in the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Aloysious Weathers Sr.; and his grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. P. C. Weather and Mr. And Mrs. Samuel B. Burros.

Survivors include daughters Cherie Nurmi of Gig Harbor, Wash., Sucanne Shuto of Honolulu, Hawaii, Chritine Yates and Laura Stevenson, both of Houston, Texas, and Patti Gibson of Aurora, Colo; sons Chris Frank of Aurora and Michael Frank of Colorado; his mother, Roslyn A. Weathers of Bay St. Louis; a sister, Gale Brady of Diamondhead; and 11 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted Friday, Nov 13 at 12:30 p.m. in Biloxi National Cemetery, Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements
