Wendling, Nicholas - April 1, 1998
Nicholas Joseph Wendling, 85, of Bay St. Louis, died Wednesday, April 1, 1998, in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Wendling was a retired quality control specialist with the airospace industry. He was a native of Baltimore, Md. and a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland. He was a member of AARP and past member of Bay Waveland Elks Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Katrina Agnes Wendling; two brothers, Stephen Wendling and Peter Wendling; and a sister,Edna Nelson.
Survivors include his wife, Delia M. Wendling of Bay St. Louis; two sons, William G. Wendling of Orlando, Fla.; and James H. Wendling of League City, Texas; two daughters, Barbara Wendling Boyka of Tucson, Ariz., and Layne Wendling Bourgeois of Bay St. Louis; a brother, George Wendling of Baltimore; two sisters, Helen Sturgis of Windson Lox, Conn., and Elizabeth Mayne of Baltimore; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today, 7-9 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 8 p.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 6, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gulf Coast Mausoleum, in Bay St. Louis.
