Bourgeois, S. - March 5, 1894
Died:--On Monday morning at 5:17 o'clock, March 5, 1894, Mr. S. Bourgeois passed into eternal life, aged 72 years. The deceased had been ill since December last, bearing his sufferings with true christian fortitude. He leaves an aged widow and a large family of sons and daughters, grand children and great grand children.
The funeral took place from his late residence 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, and the remains were followed to the grave by the bereaved relatives and a large concourse of sorrowing friends and acquaintances. The sad services were conducted by Very Rev. Father Leduc, of Bay St. Louis. The pall bearers were Mssrs. J. B. Faivre, R. S. Knight, Jules V. Ladner, Richard Attaway, John D. Bourgeois, D. S. Bourgeois.
