Hesler, infant son - July 29, 1894
The four-year-old son of Mr. E. Hesler at the canning factory fell from a bath house wharf last Sunday morning and was drowned. The father of the child immediately ran to the rescue, but reached the sad scene too late. The remains were sent to New Orleans Sunday night for burial.
