Hale, Benjamin Harrison  -  August 28, 1971

Benjamin Harrison Hale, 82, a resident of 416 West Railroad St., Long Beach, died at 7:55 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport.

Born in Clinton, Tenn., November 6, 1888, Mr. Hale lived in Long Beach for 30 years. He formerly lived in Pascagoula. He was a retired signalman from the Louisville and Nashville Railroad, and a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Employees.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rose Overton Hale of Long Beach; two sons, Paul O. Hale, Gulfport, and Warren W. Hale, Long Beach, two daughters, Mrs. James W. Ruhr, Waveland, and Mrs. Doris Seuzeneau, Bay St Louis; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. from Riemann Funeral Home Long Beach Chapel with Rev. Bill Waugh, pastor of Long Beach Methodist Church and Rev. Rex Lofton officiating. Friends may call at the Long Beach Chapel prior to service time.

Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
