Attaway, Alice - October 13, 1894
After a lingering illness of six weeks, at 5 o'clock this Saturday morning passed from earth to heaven the soul of an effectionate wife and living mother in the person of Mrs. Richard Attaway. The deceased was only 29 years of age and was a native of New Orleans where she had a large number of friends as well as in Bay St. Louis and Waveland. The funeral will take place, tomorrow from her late residence in Waveland at 1 p.m. To the bereaved family The Echo extends deep sympathy

--The funeral of Mrs. Richard Attaway, who died in Waveland last Saturday. took place from her late residence last Sunday noon and was largely attended by relatives, friends; acquaintances and the members of the Ladies' Minerva Mutual and Aid Association. The burial took place at St. Luke's cemetery, Rev. N. B. Harmon officiating.
