Bourgeois, John T. - October 3, 1900
John T. Bourgeois, aged 33 years, was drowned at Waveland Wednesday afternoon, while fishing from an open boat anchored off the Hellwege place. He was a brother of the Waveland merchants, Messrs. L. S. and O. M. Bourgeois and leaves a wife and five children to mourn his untimele demise. The interment took place Thursday afternoon in this city from the Catholic church to the city cemetery.
