Funeral services for Pasqual Piazza who died early Friday morning at Touro Infirmary were held here Sunday afternoon from the Fahey Funeral Home with the rites of the Catholic Church.

Services were held at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church and at St. Mary's Cemetery, Rev. William Clark officiating.

Pallbearers were Charles Genin, Frank Quintini, Sam Noto, James Stevens, Roger Heitzman and Maurice Artiques.

Mr. Piazza was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the Clement R. Bontemps American Legion Post here. Members of the Post participated in the services.

He was a native and life resident of this city and was employed at Gulfport Field as supervisor of mechanics at the time he was taken ill.

He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Mabel Jones of Bay St. Louis; a daughter, Miss Thelma Piazza, a student at Perkingston Junior College; four sons, Sgt. Emile G. Piazza, Army Air Corps, England; Cliftyon J. Piazza, Navy, South Pacific; and Bernard and Albert Piazza of Bay St. Louis.

He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Pasqual Piazza.

The services were largely attended including relatives and friends from out of town. There were many floral offerings.
