Reilly, John - February 8, 1902
John Reilly, a native of lreland, aged 73 years, died Saturday at 5:30 o'clock p.m. Mr. Reilly came out from New Orleans, where he had been a resident forty-one years, about eighteen months ago in search of health, but owing to his advanced age he gradually grew worse until the end came. He leaves a brother in Philadelphia and a son, Joseph H. Reilly, of New Orleans, who was with him constantly a few weeks prior death. The funeral took place Sunday afternoon from the church of Our Lady of the Gulf, interment at St. Mary's cemetery.
