Boyd, Rachel - March 31, 2009
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, at Morning Star Baptist Church for Mrs. Rachel Boyd, age 80, of Waveland, who died on March 31, 2009, in Waveland. Burial will follow in Waveland Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd was a native of Stonewall, Miss., and was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Boyd. Survivors include two sisters, Mary Evans of Stonewall and Mamie Bumpers of St. Louis, Mo.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at Morning Star Baptist, under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
