Byrd, John - September 11, 1999
John Byrd, 56, of Waveland, died Satuday, Sept. 11, 1999, in Waveland.
Mr. Byrd was a native of Brewton, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Carrie Duberry Byrd; and his wife, Nelsie Byrd.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Ellis of Waveland; brothers Robert Byrd of Mobile, Ala., Ralph Byrd, Edward Byrd and Thomas Byrd, all of Brewton, Ala., Eugene Byrd of Allon, Nev.; sisters, Louise Hale and Callimay Lee, both of Brewton, Ala., Doris Odom of Allon, Edna Murphy of Mobile, Ala.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Vivistation was Wednesday at Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis followed by services in the funeral home chapel. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
