Mrs. Rosa Carter, 85, Bay St. Louis, died Monday, Feb. 17, 1992, in Bay St. Louis.
Mrs. Carter was member of Valena C. Jones Methodist Church in Bay St. Louis. She was a member of the Household of Ruth in Bay St. Louis.
Survivors include her husband, Roosevelt Carter of Bay St. Louis; her stepmother, Rev Ruby Shumak of Gulfport; a brother, Elder Gilbert Gillum of Waco, Texas; two sisters, Nancy Gillum of Brooklyn, N. Y., and Martha Fredrick of Gulfport; three stepsisters, Earlean Wheeler of Brooklyn, N. Y., Ruby Ford of Lawton, Okla., and Gussie Crawford of Pearlington.
Services were conducted Monday at Valena C. Jones Methodist Church in Bay St. Louis. Burial was in Cedar Rest Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
J. T. Hall Funeral Home in Gulfport was in charge of arrangements.
