Coe, Virgie - January 22, 1999
Virgie Coe, 82, of Waveland, died Friday, Jan 22, 1999, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Coe was a native of Crestview, Fla., and a homemaker. She was a member of Mount Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include eight daughters, Mattie Lee Jenkins of Kissimmee, Fla., Bertha Memmittie of New Orleans, Mary Hawkins, Rose Howard and Deloris Booth, all of Waveland, Beatrice Coe of Birmingham, Ala., Louise Coe Mayberry of Augusta, Ga., and Jeanette Coe of Canton; two sons, James Coe of Augusta and Lawerence Coe of Waveland; 43 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Saturday at Mount Chapel Baptist Church in Waveland. Burial was in Waveland Cemetery. Baylous Funeral Home in Picayune was in charge of arrangements.
