Collins, Ellsworth R. - April 25, 1996
Ellsworth "Cotton" R. Collins, 76, of Bay St. Louis, died Thursday, April 25, 1996, in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Collins was a musician and a carpenter. He was a member of St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis and a 50 year member of the Knights of Peter Claver, Pere Blanc, Council No. 6, Circus Model Builders and the American Federation of Musicians, Local 496.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Arsene Barabino Collins Sr.; two brothers, Oscar "Rip" Collins jr., and Roland "Mex" Collins; two sisters, Marie Louise Collins and Evangline "Sister" Joseph.
Survivors include a brother, Clarence Collins of San Antonio, Texas, and a sister Lucille Mosely of Montclair, N. J.
Visitation was Monday at St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, followed by services and burial in Cedar Rest Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
J. T. Hall Funeral Home in Gulfport was in charge of arrangements.
