Cuevas, Donald A. - March 4, 1998
Donald A. Cuevas, 60, of Bay St. Louis, died Wednesday, March 4, 1998, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Cuevas, known by the name of Pee Wee, was a native of Bay St. Louis and was a retired letter carrier with 35 years of service with the U. S. Postal Service. He was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church and a 1855 graduate of St. Stanislaus.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann M. Cuevas; his parents, Monroe Frank and Margaret Oakley Fayard Duevas; and a brother, Lloyd Cuevas.
Survivors include a son, Stephen A. Cuevas of Bay St. Louis; a daughter, Stephanie C. Johnson of Mobile; four brothers, Monroe F. Cuevas Jr., of Ocean Springs, Milton Jl Cuevas of Washington Township, N.J., Irvin T. Cuevas of Seal Beach, Calif, and Vincent J. Cuevas of Lafayette, La; a sister, Rose Marie C. Schaap of Slidell; and two grandchildren, Carly Joann Johnson and Colton Blake Johnson, borh of Mobile, Ala.
Visitation Was Friday evening at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. Mass was celebrated Saturday at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Burial was in Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum.
