Ducote, John E. Sr. - April 24, 1999
John E. Ducote Sr., 74, of Bay St. Louis, died Saturday, April 24, 1999, in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Ducote was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Bay St. Louis. He was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland. He reitired after 16 years of service at Stennis Space Center. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a meember of American Legion Post 139 and VFW Post 3253 in Bay St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jane Leonard Ducote; and his parents, Willie and Alice Juneau Ducote.
Survivors include a son, John E. Ducote Jr. of Bay St. Louis; two daughters, Patricia Edwards of LaPlace, La., and Pamela Bowler of Harahan, La.; seven grandchildren and four grat-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Monday at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home Chapel in Bay St. Louis. Burial was in Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery and Mausoleum in Bay St. Louis.
