Elliott, Thelma H. - March 9, 1999
Thelma H. Elliott, 77, of Waveland, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999 in Bay St. Louis.
Mrs. Elliott was a native of New Orleans and a longtrime resident of Waveland. She was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland. She taught in the St. Clare and Our Lady of the Gulf school systems in the 1960"s. She was a member of the American Lelgion Auxiliary Post 139, Bay St. Louis, and was a member of the Historical Society of Hancock County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Elliott; her parents, Victor and Agnes Florence Caillier Hinterlang; and a brother, Dr. Victor A. Hinterlang.
Survivors include a sister, Lucille W. Wilkerson of Bay St. Louis a stepdaughter, Mrs. Arthur Morel of Santa Barbara, Calif; several nieces and nephews and five step-grandchildren.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. for celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial at l p.m. in St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
