Obituary Record

Baker, Capt. John G., of the revenue cutter, "SEWARD", died in Pass Christian on Friday last from peritonitis. Captain Baker was born at Salem, Mass., in 1830, and was well known and held in the highest esteem. He leaves a wife and grown daughter.
