Favre, George W.  -  February 7, 1999

George W. Favre, 90, of Bay St. Louis, died Sunday, Feb 7, 1999 in Mobile, Ala.

Mr. Favre was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland. He was a native of Ansley and a lifelong resident of Bay St. Louis. He was employed by John McDonald Inc. for some 20 years before his retirement in 1970. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and Holy Name Society of Bay St. Louis. He also volunteered for numberous years with the Boy Scouts of America.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Green Favre; two sons, Stanley G. And Walter Scott Favre, and his parents, William Mark and Emelina Cuevas.

Survivors include a son, Barry F. Favre of Mobile; two daughters, Ursula F. Penton of Waveland and Paula F. Brewington of Mobile; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Visitation was Tuesday at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis followed by celebration of Mass at St. Clare Catholic Church. Burial was in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
