Favre, John A. - July 19, 1958
John A. Favre, a native of Bay St. Louis, 73, died Saturday, July 19, at South Mississippi General Hospital, Laurel, Miss., following a long illness.
He was the husband of Mary Perrillous Favre, father of Mrs. Mary Etta Hover, Pearlington, Joseph P. Favre, Mrs. Loretta Johnston, Larry L Favre, Jo Anne Favre, Ronald E. Favre, and Aloysius Favre, all of Bay St. Louis.
He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Favre and brother of Mrs. Emma Fatzer, New Orleans. Survivors also include six grandchilden and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral rites were held Monday morning, July 21, at 10 o'clock from Fahey Funeral Home with religious services at the First Baptist Church at 10:00 a. m. Interment was in Cedar Rest Cemetery.
