Fayard, Edward Charles  -  Unknown Date

Edward Charles Fayard, 69, died suddenly Sunday morning about 6 o'clock at his home in Kiln. He was born March 27, 1886, in Hancock County. Mr. Fayard had been employed as a caretaker for the past 11 years by Dr. Charles M. Banister. He was a member of the Local Carpenter's Union. 1846, New Orleans.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Heber Favard; one stepson, Theodore (Teddy) Stechmann, Bay St. Louis; two brothers, Otto Fayard, Bay St. Louis and New Orleans, and Gus Fayard, Atlanta, Ga.; three sisters. Mrs. Emma Fayard and Mrs. Celine Ashcraft, Bay St. Louis; Mrs. Joe Parilla, Destrehan, La. Another stepson, Henry Carl Stechmann, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon from Fahey Funeral Home at 2:45 o'clock with religious services at 3 o'clock from Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
