Sebastian Fontana, 87, of Waveland, died Tuesday, Oct 28, 1997, in Waveland.
Mr. Fontana was a native of New Orleans.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Marquez Fontana; his parents, Salvador and Mary Grisoffi Fontana; two brothers, Nick Fintana Maggio and Evelyn Fontana Planette.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Fontana Bourgeois; a son, Sebatian Daryl Fontana, both of Waveland; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mass will be celebrated at noon today at the chapel of Jacob Schoen Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street in New Orleans where friends may call three hours before service time. Burial will be in St. Louis III Cemetery in New Orleans .
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
