Fouasnon, Gabrial - January 7, 1998
Gabriel M. Fouasnon, 76, of Bay St. Louis, died Wednesday, Jan 7, 1998, in Slidell.
Mr. Fouasnon was a native of LaVarenne, France, and was a retired electronics store owner. He was a member and sergeant-at-arms of the Bay St. Louis Rotary and a member of the First Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Auguste Fouasnon and Lucienne Herouard Fouasnon; a daughter, Saundra Staples; a brother, Guy Fouasnon ; and a sister, Micheline Dufay.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Fouasnon of Bay St. Louis; four sons, Jack Austin of Charleston, S. C., Alain Fouasnon, Marc Fouasnon and Michael Fouasnon, all of Bay ST. Louis; a daughter, Nicole Bourpeois of Waveland; a sister, Christiane Williams of Lubbock, Texas; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Saturday at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis., followed by services in First Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
