Galloway, Melvin Sr. - July 19, 1993
Melvin Galloway Sr., 81, Bay St. Louis, died Monday, July 19, 1993, in Wiggins.
Mr. Galloway was a native of Kiln. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Galloway.
Survivors include three sons, James Galloway, Jesse Galloway Sr., and Melvin Galloway Jr., all of Bay St. Louis; four daughters, Ms. Clara Mae Galloway, Ms Ida Mae Galloway, Ms Gracie Mae Galloway and Ms. Catherine Galloway, all of Bay St. Louis; two brothers, Arthur Galloway of Bogue Chitto and Amos Galloway of Los Angeles; 28 grandchildred and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Saturday at First Missionary Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis. Burial was in Cedar Rest Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
J. T. Hall Funeral Home in Gulfport was in charge of arrangements.
