Garcia, Gus Jr. - September 16, 1997
Gus Garcia Jr., 57, of Pearlington, died September 16, 1997 in Slidell.
Mr. Garcia was a tug boat captain. He was a native of Pearlington and was an auziliary deputy with the Hancock County Sheriff's Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus Garcia Sr. and Lillie La Fonatain Garcia.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Garcia of Pearlington; three sons, David John Garcia of Westwego, La., Jason Everett Garcia of Bogalusa, La., and Joshua Gus Garcia of Pearlington; a daughter, Stormy Gale Garcia of Pearlington; two sisters, Ann Asher and Mary Hillhouse of Pearlington and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, Sept 19,6-10 p. m. at Pearlington Methodist Church Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. at the church, followed by burial in Pearlington Cemetery.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
