Gayaut, Anastasia - February 17, 1999
Anastasia Pitalo Gayaut, 70, of Bay St. Louis, died Wednesday, Feb 17, 1999 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Gayaut was born March 7, 1928 in Biloxi and was a longtime resident of Bay St. Louis. She was the daughter of the late Anthony G. Pitalo and Katherine Surian Pitalo of Bay St. Louis. She was a member and a retired teacher of Our Lady of the Gulf and Our Lady Academy.She was past president and life member of American legion Auxiliary Unit 139 and a member of La Femmes.
Survivors include her husband, Gilbert D. Gayout Jr. of Bay St. Louis; a daughter, Sandra Gayaut Beebe of Bay St. Louis; three sons, Anthony Gayaut and wife Susan of Corpus Christi, Texas, Philip Gayaut and wife Janie of Pearl River, La., and Kenny Gayaut of Bay St. Louis, a brother, Anthony Pitalo Jr. and wife Patricica of Bay St. Louis; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild,many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Friday evening at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. A prayer service was conducted Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Interment followed in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
