Genin, Alvin Jr. - November 18, 1998
Alvin Genin Jr., 55, of Pass Christian, died Wednesday, Nov 18, 1998, in Gulfport.
Mr. Genin was a native and lifelong resident of Bay St. Louis and was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis. He was a 1960 graduate of St. Stanislaus. He served four years in the U. S. Navy and attended the University of Southern Missippi in Hattiesburg. He was employed at Stennis Space Center where he worked as a design engineer for Pan American and Johnson Controls over the past 15 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Millard Genin Sr.Survivors include a son, Thomas A. Genin of Pass Chritian; his mother, Bertha Genin Feeney of Bay St. Louis; and three brothers, Larry Genin of Gretna and Ronnie Genin and Chuck Genin, both of Bay St. Louis.
Visistation was Saturday at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis followed by celebration of Mass. Burial was in Bayou Coco Cemetery in Kiln.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis was in charge of arrangements.
